BOOM!

I have three balls of masses 3m,4m and 2m of negligible dimensions; I want to generate heat using them and a collision;

These balls are kept on the rim of a fixed smooth hemispherical bowl and dropped at the same time; there is a collision at the bottom and i want maximum heat from it;

Specify the orientation of the balls;
Assume that they stick together after collision;

  2. acc to me , the 2 balls of mass m must be kept together, and the ball of mass 2m should be kept opposite to them (i.e when their positions are joined, they form the diameter of hemisphere)

  7. getting very weird answer

    cosA=11/16

    cosB=21/24

    we A and B are angle made 2m and 3m with diameter passing thru 4m

  8. i dint get the exact values ,but got a relation btw two angle

    cosA : cosB = 3:5

    where A and B are angle made 2m and 3m with diameter passing thru 4m

  9. A and B are angle made by 2m and 3m with diameter passing thru 4m
    cos A= 33/48
    cos B= 21/24

  10. drop the ball with mass 2m from 9'oclock, drop the ball with mass of 3m from about 6:30, and drop the ball with mass 4m from about 1:31.
