Try to introduce some variables (other than x, I mean) into the 1st integration.
Bhaiya, is there any way to prove that the 1st integral is sqrt(pi)? i tried wiki and read quite a lot about error function, but everywhere they have just defined the same like a result

ReplyDeleteThere is infact a very simple way, based on double integration. That's beyond your scope.
ReplyDeleteBut, there is a quite straightforward way to derive the second integral from the 1st.
