The probability that no car passes through a tollbooth in a 20 min time-window is .5. What is the probability that no car passes thru the tollbooth in a 5 minute time-window? Answer should be only in decimal notation.
and this is electron difrraction, happened in 1936, davisson and germer(these names have been mentioned in the ncert), they proved debrogile's hypothesis true
I don't know why this is coming to my mind, sounds absurd, but try karne me kya hai. Heisenberg's uncertainty?? Blur as in..uncertainty..and slith width decrease ki..vahi feel aati hai :D
Bhaiya what are the answers? And I don't quite get your last question, if it's launched for Moon, why would it land on Mars? :/ I mean, I think only after doing many rigorous calculations and understanding the path of the heavenly bodies, we'll launch the satellite, so all effects such as gravitation of Mars and of moon and of earth are already taken into effect while launching the satellite.
anant, u have given the answer to this problem urself. calculations have been made because we can be certain of position and speed of satellites, but not for subatomic particles, because of the uncertainity principle.
thomas young?
ReplyDeleteand 0.125?
(im not sure of any of these)
de broglie 0.0125
ReplyDelete0.37 and de broglie
ReplyDeletefresnel
ReplyDeleteand 0.88
by 19th century i meant 1900-2000...should this be 20th century?? sorry!
ReplyDeleteakash's fresel is absurd...but the second answer is quite close.
de-broglie is also quite close..
yep, that is 20th century.
ReplyDeleteand this is electron difrraction, happened in 1936, davisson and germer(these names have been mentioned in the ncert), they proved debrogile's hypothesis true
davisson and germer 'principle'??? nope..
ReplyDelete0.875 for the 2nd one, no idea about 1st :)
ReplyDeleteyes, 0.875 for me too
ReplyDeleteis it Bohr..? or feynman??
ReplyDeleteand 0.841 for the second..
I don't know why this is coming to my mind, sounds absurd, but try karne me kya hai.
ReplyDeleteHeisenberg's uncertainty??
Blur as in..uncertainty..and slith width decrease ki..vahi feel aati hai :D
ok...now we have some correct answers...
ReplyDeleteAlso ponder over this:
ReplyDeleteWhy does a spacecraft launched for the Moon not land over Mars?
because rules of quantum mechanics does'nt obeyed by heavy bodies
ReplyDeletenowadays the most puzziling problem for theory of everything
ReplyDeleteBhaiya what are the answers?

OH :D
ReplyDeletemain bhi to yahi keh raha tha uncertanity principle quantum mechanics main hi to aata hai
ReplyDeleteso what are actually the correct answers??
ReplyDelete(for the original problems..)
hisenberg, .841..
ReplyDeleteall of you should try the probability problem...
its quite good.
thnx bhaiya..
ReplyDeletenice question.. :)
