i think it will [u*Ia/2(pi)][ln(a+l/l)] using M21=M12 we find M and put it in (phi)=M21 I (i think l(distance of nearer side of the loop from the plane)shud be given)(u* = myu not)(M=mutual inductance)
ya i did it the same way...generally ppl overlook that 1 line wriiten in the module-its importance is illustrated in this qstn...acha temme "why can we photograph a virtual image?"(isnt it wrng in principle?)
thats exactly what i thot(ki image in that case wont remain virtual)..chal is par JEE k baad sochunga...abhi to kuch zyada samajh nai aa rha..btw check this qstn out http://digginomics.blogspot.com/
answer is b comment on (ii)..matalb what happens in (ii)
haan yar Digvijay..in 'a' and 'b' the block B suffers no impulse due to tension. You can apply cons. of momentum..so equal velocities in 'a' and 'b'...
par in 'c'..the block B suffers an impulse due to tension...actually you can apply cons. of momentum to the system A,B,C..
in a and b velocity is v/2..while in c it is v/3...

ya...forgot the distance..you're right Digvijay.
ReplyDeleteIts called the principle of Reciprocity. Agn. you have to take the gigantic loop...

ReplyDeleteyaar as far as i know..it is'nt possinle to obtain a virtual img. on a screen....as long as you dont use a converging lens..which a camera does!
ReplyDeletepar yaar converging lens use karne ke baad image virtual rahi bhi to nahi!
is the gigantic plane perpendicular to plane carrying the current or in the same plane?

Digvijay, can you tell me what the orientation of the infinite sheet in the question is?
ReplyDeletethe infinite sheet is coplanar to the ractangular loop..thats enuf info..
ReplyDeletehaan yar Digvijay..in 'a' and 'b' the block B suffers no impulse due to tension. You can apply cons. of momentum..so equal velocities in 'a' and 'b'...

Hence B
bole to ii mein spring expand ho jayega thats why no impulse, ryt?
